Oklahoma Main Street Announces 2012 Award Winners

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Main Street Center announced the winners in 20 different award categories during the 23rd annual Main Street Awards Banquet, April 24, at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. 

“This was truly an outstanding year for the awards,” said Linda Barnett, Oklahoma Main Street Center director. “Not only is this an opportunity to recognize all the hard work that communities put forth each day, it is also a time celebrate a record number of entries.  We continue to be amazed and proud of all the great things that happen throughout our Main Street communities.” 

Each award falls under one of the “four points” in the Main Street Approach – Organization, Promotion, Economic Restructuring and Design.
