2019 OML Annual Conference and Expo

The Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) conference will bring together a statewide audience of over 400 mayors, council members, trustees, city managers, clerks, electrical superintendents, public works directors and other municipal officials representing approximately 120 Oklahoma municipalities. The delegates will meet to learn, to listen, to question and to discuss the issues of our cities and towns.

2020 Census: The Oklahoma Count
OML Sessions, Thursday, Sept. 19th

Commerce serves as the liaison between the state of Oklahoma and the U.S. Census Bureau and is committed to achieving a complete and accurate 2020 census count to ensure every Oklahoman is counted. In preparation for the decennial census in 2020, the Oklahoma Department of Commerce has participated in various Census Bureau programs such as LUCA (Local Update of Census Addresses), PSAP (Participant Statistical Areas Program), Census Count Review Program, and many others. These programs enable participants to review and update their address data and selected statistical area boundaries for the 2020 Census.

Becoming an Oklahoma Main Street
OML Sessions, Thursday, Sept. 19th

Session 1: 1:10 – 2:00 PM
Session 2: 2:10 – 3:00 PM

Attendees will learn about the application and selection process for the Oklahoma Main Street Program, as well as the Main Street Approach to economic revitalization.

If you would like to come to this workshop and not planning to attend the rest of the OML conference, please call the Oklahoma Main Street Center at 405-815-6552 by Friday, September 13, 2019 to register. If you are already registered and attending the OML conference, there is no need to register with Main Street.

To be eligible for 2020 Oklahoma Main Street Program designation, communities and/or historic commercial districts must have two representatives at one of the sessions listed above.
