“Expanding our spiral heat exchanger capabilities in Broken Arrow means we’re providing a better customer experience now and in the future,” said Christian Thomsen, president, Welded Heat Exchanger Business Unit, Alfa Laval Energy Division.
The expansion of the Oklahoma operation included a 13,000-square-foot office building and is part of the company’s new investment in the U.S.
“The (United States) is the single biggest and most important market for welded heat exchangers,” said Thomsen. “So it’s important we keep developing in this market.”
The new center is expected to add approximately 50 new jobs according to an Alfa Laval spokesperson.
“I want to congratulate Alfa Laval for having the faith to expand their business and expanding business in Broken Arrow,” Mayor Craig Thurmond said. “It means a lot to us because of the quality jobs that they provide and the services they provide to the industry.”
