Employer Listening Sessions to be held for the Manufacturing Industry in Western Oklahoma Workforce Development Area

The Western Oklahoma Workforce Development Board (WOWDB) is hosting a series of listening sessions for manufacturers in Western Oklahoma Workforce Development Area (WOWDA).  WOWDB is seeking input from manufacturers regarding workforce needs.

WOWDB serves the communities, employers and job seekers of 25 counties:  Alfalfa, Beaver, Beckham, Blaine, Cimarron, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Greer, Harmon, Harper, Jackson, Kay, Kingfisher, Kiowa, Major, Noble, Payne, Roger Mills, Texas, Washita, Woods, Woodward and oversees the function of Oklahoma Works American Job Centers in Altus, Alva, Enid, Guymon, Ponca City, Stillwater, Weatherford and Woodward.  This project is in conjunction with the South Central Oklahoma Workforce Board and listening sessions will take place in that area:  Lawton, May 9th, and Duncan, May 16th.  Those interested in learning more, may contact for information.
